Active Directory / IBM i UserID Sync Guide

AD / IBM i UserID Sync is plug-in for Active Directory that will create IBM i userIDs based on those created in AD.  

A configuration file tells the utility when and where to create the IBM i user profiles as well as the profile attributes and values that should be set to something other than the default values.

Another benefit of the AD / IBM UserID Sync utility is that it can also create all of the EIM information for a new user.

When a userID is removed from AD, the utility can also be configured to delete the IBM i user profile. You can also specify how the utility should handle objects owned by the profile to be deleted.
